Today’s Track of the Day is an understated and cultured piece of music from Martin Waslewski called Peripha, out on the Exploited Ghetto label. We recently featured his collaboration with Ole Biege, Reilstreet, as another of our TOTDs and you can hear the same crisp and intelligent production values of that track on show here again with this new release.
Martin Waslewski is a tech and deep house DJ and producer from Halle in Germany. He switched to electronic music in 2010 having spent his formative years listening to hip hop, a switch we’re glad he made having listened to some of his recent offerings.
Waslewski currently doesn’t have many live sets booked in the coming months, with the majority of his confirmed dates being in Germany. In August, he is due to play at 3000 Grad Festival, Feldberger Seenlandschaft, Germany on 12th and then Eulenglück, Braunschweig, Germany on 17th. He has a date pencilled in for Leipzig in Germany on 27th October although the venue has yet to be confirmed. Similarly, in November he will play in Grenoble, France, with the location still undecided and then he is due at Ganz oder Kranich, Docks, Hamburg, Germany on the following day.
